Eight Degrees is an award-winning independent Irish craft brewery renowned for its innovation and experimentation. Established at the foot of the majestic Galtee mountains by Kiwi Scott and Aussie Cam, who were lured to Ireland by two Irish cailins, Eight Degrees Brewing is passionate about producing exciting and adventurous beers using only natural ingredients. Sláinte!

Why the name? Ireland is located at eight degrees west longitude which, as it happens, is also the perfect serving temperature for our beers.

Our beer: We have an award-winning core range of beers that includes Barefoot Pilsner, Howling Gale Irish Pale Ale, Sunburnt Irish Red Ale, Knockmealdown Irish Stout and Full Irish Single Malt IPA. In addition, Eight Degrees consistently produces a range of world class premium and limited releases, winning plaudits at World Beer Awards, Dublin Beer Cup and Great Taste Awards.

We have introduced Ireland to new hops, collaborated with chocolatiers, whiskey producers, Indian spice merchants, Mexican importers and other breweries to come up with beers for the adventurous at heart.

Eight Degrees also uses locally foraged ingredients for a portfolio of limited edition beers. We have used spruce tips in place of imported hops for an amber ale, wild blackberries for stout and infused mountain heather into a Scotch ale. Wild Ballyhoura is our on-going barrel-aging project, using local ingredients and working with a wild Brett yeast.

All beers are packaged in house at our Mitcheltown brewery and supplied to our customers in Ireland and abroad - Italy, France, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, South Korea - in draught (30 and 50l kegs) and 330ml bottles.
